With the Jon Jones vs Daniel Cormier fight in the record books, all eyes are now on January 31st, when UFC presents the return of Anderson “The Spider” Silva versus the controversial bad boy from Stockton, California Nick Diaz. Silva (33-6 MMA, 16-2 UFC), is recognized as perhaps the greatest pound for pound fighter of all time. This marks The Spider’s return to the Octagon, his first fight since SILVA SUFFERED A GRUESOME BROKEN LEG AGAINST CHRIS WEIDMAN OVER A YEAR AGO. Diaz (26-9 MMA, 7-6 UFC) has been in a self-imposed hiatus since a loss to Georges St-Pierre 22 months ago.
