In what will go down as the most historically significant tag team match in pro wrestling and sports entertainment history, it was Undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns (with his WWE Hall of Fame wiseman, our boss Paul Heyman) and The People’s Champion The Rock taking on Cody Rhodes and WWE World Champion Seth Freakin’ Rollins. The stakes could not be higher. Should The Bloodline win this match, which served as the main event for Night One of this year’s WrestleMania XL, then Reigns’ title defense against Rhodes in the main event of Night Two would be contested under Bloodline Rules. But if the team of Rhodes and Rollins were to emerge victorious, then The Bloodline would be banned from appearing at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, giving Rhodes a fair chance one-on-one vs The Tribal Chief in a rematch from the main event of WrestleMania 39.
