WWE Smackdown from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia featured the main event of Randy Orton vs new Bloodline member Tama Tonga in the semi-finals of the King of the Ring tournament. This happened as Solo‘s plan for the match was most likely altered, as Tonga Loa could not appear in Jeddah, which Paul Heyman explained to Solo earlier in the night was because Solo is recruiting dangerous people into the Bloodline!
Orton, the Apex Predator and a veteran with many tricks up his sleeve, survived the vicious onslaught by Tama Tonga and advanced to the finals against Gunther, only to be victim to a beatdown by Solo and Tama Tonga after the match. But the beatdown did not last long, as “KO” Kevin Owens returned to even the odds in the never-ending fight against The Bloodline!
