If you haven’t made the time on Monday nights to check out Sundance Channel’s new series LOREDANA ESQ then you’re depriving yourself of the best legal series since Judge Judy donned the robe. The series debuted last week to the highest ratings ever scored by a debuting reality series in the history of the Sundance Channel, which should come to no surprise to any of the many people who have become enamored with the hot-as-a-policewoman’s-pistol attorney Nesci, who says the unscripted TV show “plays out like an episode of Law & Order except the people and cases are real.”
During a recent interview, the Connecticut-educated attorney stated, “when I discuss my clients’ cases with them, I go out of my way to speak in the utmost simple terms because the justice system and procedures can be difficult to understand. The only things I ask of my clients are to be truthful and that they tell me everything, even if they think the information is unimportant. I will be of no use to any client if I don’t know the whole uncensored story.”
This is obvious in the cop-turned-advocate’s reality show. Loredana’s no-holds-barred approach to not only representing her clients, but also in dealing with them makes for the single most compelling new reality docudrama to hit television in several years.
