The 30th Anniversary of WWE Monday Night RAW was highlighted by Tribal Court: The Trial of Sami Zayn, a dramatic spectacle filled with twists and turns that had every member of the WWE Universe on the edge of their seats!
The trial opened up with WWE’s Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns assigning our boss, his wise man and #SpecialCounsel Paul Heyman to handle the prosecution. A loud ECW broke out, which is no surprise since this show emanated from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Heyman said, “My Tribal Chief, ECW is dead, and I wish the very same for Sami Zayn!”
What happened over the course of the next several minutes was a true nail biter. Heyman presented the case against Sami. Sami, deeply hurt, refused to defend himself. Reigns called for Solo to handle Sami. Jey Uso stepped in and stopped Solo, and presented the surprise defense for Sami.
Reigns found Sami “not guilty” but tabled it with “for now!”
