Joyner Lucas, who is unquestionably one of our favorite artists (especially when it comes to the music video releases he blesses upon the world) has teamed with Rotimi for the official music video to Broski, where the pair reflect on a years-long friendship that has absolutely gone in the wrong direction.
The video, directed by Lucas himself, has him sitting amongst friends as they enjoy a dinner, celebrating the success of all things Joyner Lucas. That’s when Rotimi, playing Lucas’ best friend, gives a toast honoring his friend that soon reveals deep seeded jealousy.
According to an official press release, the fantastic music video “provides a captivating look into the conundrum that several entertainers experience, when friends switch up on them when money, power and greed are involved.”
Broski is the latest single released off Lucas’ upcoming second studio album titled Not Now, I’m Busy. The album is scheduled to drop on August 18, and this video will no doubt provide even more anticipation for the widespread release.
