MTV’s "The Situation" showed off his abs at the grand opening of The Candy Factory in Las Vegas over the weekend, as the reality star born Mike Sorrentino continued to use up his 15 minutes of fame.
The Jersey Shore superstar, who was an assistant manager at fitness center on Staten Island, New York, now charges more money per appearance than he used to make in an entire year. While picking out sweets and checking out the girlies, The Situation defended the notion that his fame may not be fleeting.
"The 15 minutes of fame doesn’t apply to me," he declared, "Maybe some of the cast, but not me. I’m limitless. I conquered reality in my first season. I might get my own show. There might be a Situation series."
He also pointed out "People are flipping out where ever I go. People magazine. Life and Style. In Touch. I haven’t changed at all. I shake every hand. I kiss every cheek. I take every picture. People are so happy to meet me. Stars come up and want to take their picture with me."
Whether he’s the next Spencer Pratt, or as WWE Superstar Chris Jericho posted on THE HEYMAN HUSTLE OFFICIAL TWITTER PAGE, "this generation’s Fonz," this is Mike Sorrentino’s time in the sun. And that’s The Situation!
