WWE Chairman Vince McMahon celebrated his 64th birthday by doing a 20+ minute sketch at the beginning of Monday Night Raw with D/X, and by pinning WWE Champion Randy Orton in a six man tag team match in the main event. Nothing screams anti-establishment and counter-culture for D/X like teaming with the boss, huh?
I’m sure our resident Hustler De Tuti Hustlers Paul Heyman is tempted to write a blog explaining the mindset behind all this, but Paul just posted a blog on the CM Punk-Jeff Hardy-Undertaker angle at the end of SummerSlam (CLICK HERE TO READ THE BLOG) so I think we’ll have to leave his thoughts to our own imaginations.
We do, however, have some pictures of the birthday celebration, including what happened when Raw went off the air and Vince was joined in the ring by Linda, Shane, and Stephanie. Did Stephanie know she would be appearing in public, or is the head of all creative and talent in World Wrestling Entertainment walking around backstage in front of her staff with a rather revealing top like that? Someone remind me to ask Paul about that as well.
