Eminem has kicked the hype into high gear for his new album, The Death of Slim Shady, with the release of the music video for Houdini, which is produced by Eminem (Marshall Matthews) along with Luis Resto and available to stream right now. The music video, directed by Rich Lee, is a classic Eminem video, a self-parodying career retrospective with appearances from Dr. Dre and Pete Davidson. There are a gazillion references to a number of Eminem‘s most popular videos dating back to My Name Is in 1999.
It was all the way back (yes we are being sarcastic) in April, when the music world was first notified that Eminem was going to tilt the axis of the entire industry all over again when he released the announcement of The Death of Slim Shady during the NFL Draft.
