OK, let’s call this the Viral Video of the Week.
Keith Richards came on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, as The Rolling Stones are promoting Hackney Diamonds, their first new album in eighteen years (their 24th studio album overall), and the guitarist put on a performance that will go down in television history.
In a recent media blitz, Keith revealed he and Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood are working on even more material. “There’s plenty more stuff left over from Hackney Diamonds to work on,” he said. “There’ll always be another one until we drop.”
“We can put our feet up for a little bit, but you know,” Richards continued. “You’re into this thing all the way. This is what we do. We’ve gotta see this Rolling Stones through.”
Keith also revealed in recent media interviews the Stones have no plans to quit touring. “It keeps me on my toes and keeps my fingers moving,” he offered.. “And I’m still finding different ways of playing things. Even though you’re getting to be around 80, believe me, it don’t stop.”
