It all seemed so innocent.
Legendary photographer Terry Richardson was in charge of a fantastically sexy-yet-funny shoot with the world's hottest super model Kate Upton. THE 2012 SPORTS ILLUSTRATED SWIMSUIT EDITION COVER GIRL has been in her fair share of sexy photo shoots recently (you can check 'em out HERE ... HERE ... and HERE), so why should this one be any different?
Just for laughs (and You Tube views, with ads embedded into the video, which run on Google Ad Sense, which pays the publisher of the video .. in this case Richardson ... some serious coin), Richardson posted a video of Upton in an itsy bitsy teensy weensy bikini, bouncing around with great sexuality and glee for a dance called "The Cat Daddy."
It was an instant global sensation.
The Cat Daddy is a dance move made popular by the Rej3ctz and Chris Brown. Of course, super model Kate shot to super-stardom in 2011 when a video of her doing the Dougie made her a viral sensation and sent her on her blindingly-fast rise to the top of the super model world.
And then YouTube removed the video.
WTF?
According to reports, YouTube moderators cited a community guidelines violation, but then flip-flopped on the issue by restoring the video on Wednesday after a user outcry. Thousands of angry Uptonmaniacs pointed out that there's no nudity or wardrobe malfunction in the footage. It's just a sexy, bouncy super model dancing in a provocative fashion.
"With the massive volume of videos on our site, sometimes we make the wrong call,” a YouTube rep stated. "When it’s brought to our attention that a video has been removed mistakenly, we act quickly to reinstate it."
And now the video is hotter than ever.
